THAT IS AN ALGORITHM?
In mathematics, sciences of the computation, and related disciplines, an algorithm (of the Latin, dixit algorithmus and this one in turn of the Persian mathematician to the-Jwarizmi) is a definite well, tidy and finite list of operations that the solution allows to find to a problem. In view of an initial condition(state) and an entry, across successive and definite well steps it(he,she) comes near to a final condition(state), obtaining a solution. The algorithms are an object of study of the algoritmia.
In the daily life algorithms are used in multitude of occasions to solve diverse problems. Some examples are in the instructive ones (user's manuals), which show algorithms to use the device in question or inclusive in the instructions that a worker receives on the part of his(her, your) boss. Also examples of nature exist mathematician, as the algorithm of the division to calculate the quotient of two numbers, Euclid's algorithm to calculate the greatest common divisor of two positive points, or Gauss's method to solve a linear System of equations.
